Mourns the death of Eva Ash, formerly of
North Chicago.

 

 

SENATE RESOLUTION


 

 

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with regret of the death of Eva Ash, formerly of North Chicago, on Tuesday, November 23, 2004; and

 

WHEREAS, She was born on September 14, 1917, in North Chicago and lived in the area all of her life; she retired from Abbott Labs after 14 years there; she was an avid country music fan and enjoyed dancing to all music; and
 

WHEREAS, The passing of Eva Ash has been deeply felt by many, specially her children, Barbara (Jim Grant) Gamberale and Linda (Tom) Thompson; her grandchildren, Kim Gamberale and Tim (Maria) Thompson; her great-grandchildren, Jimmy Pope and William Thompson; her sister, Frances Zorzy; and her many nieces and nephews; she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard "Barney" Ceskowski; her second husband, Robert Ash; her son-in-law, Edward Gamberale; her father and mother, Henry and Sophia Kalinowski; her brothers and sisters, Sophie Remsgar, Mary Foltz, Walter Keller, Helen Gabala, Stanley Keller, John Kalinowski, Henry "Hinie" Kalinowski, Adam Keller, and Anna Zorzy; therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Eva Ash, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

 

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
