Pearl Adeline Baker

 

Pearl Adeline Baker of RFD 5, died at 4:01 a.m. today at Hedrick Medical Center.

 

Mrs. Baker was born December 8, 1900, daughter of Thomas and Martha E. Stone Williams.  She was married April 17, 1918 to William Edward Baker at Chillicothe.

 

Survivors include her husband, William of the home; three children, Buel Baker, RDF 5,; Mrs. Donald (Betty) O'Dell, RFD 5, and Mrs. Charles (Vivian) Bryson, Diamond Bar, Calif.; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three children, six brothers, three sisters, a grandchild and her parents.

 

Mrs. Baker was a lifelong resident of Livingston County. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the VFW Auxiliary. She attended school at Lowland, at Avalon, Cor-Campbell and McCleary schools.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Elmer McCully will officiate.  Burial will be in the Utica Cemetery under direction of the Norman Funeral Home.  The body will lie in state after 9 a.m. Thursday and will be moved Saturday noon to the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Calvary Baptist Church may be left at the Norman Funeral Home.
