James E. Weitzel

 

James E. Weitzel, 52, of Carrollton, died Monday, June 5, 1995 at University Hospital, Columbia.

 

He was born July 25, 1942 in Meadville, the son of William and Dicy Swihart Weitzel. 

 

On Jan. 17, 1972 he married Shirley Harvey in Meadville. She survives of the home. 

 

Mr. Weitzel was self employed in a janitorial service for over 25 years in Colorado Springs, Colo.

 

Survivors include two sons, Ray Packham, Colorado Springs, and Daniel Packham, of Kingsville Texas; two daughters, Vanessa Hart and Jamie Worster, both of Colorado Springs; his mother, Dicy Weitzel of Chillicothe; a brother, Robert of Florence, Colo.; three sisters, Francis Coberley of Chula, Gladys Fisher of Chillicothe and Dorothy Cordray of Brookfield; and nine grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, two sisters and a grandson. 

 

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 1995 at the Caldwell Street Baptist Church in Brookfield.  There was a cremation.

 

There will be no family visitations.

 

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

 

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wright Funeral Home in Meadville.
