Fountain Grove Resident

 

Wesley Ash, 76, Fountain Grove, died Saturday evening at Pershing hospital in Brookfield.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wright Funeral Home in Meadville with the Rev. Michael White officiating.

 

Burial will be in the Meadville Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 8 o'clock at the funeral  home.

 

Mr. Ash was born Aug. 3, 1899 in Cassville, the son of George W. Ash and Esabelle Brake Ash. In 1944 he married Harriet Stilwagen.  He was employed by Brown Shoe Company in Brookfield.

 

Survivors include his wife of the home; two daughters, Mrs. France Ringeisen, Independence, Kan., and Mrs. Dorothy Mitchell, Cherryville, Kan.; a son, Charles Ash, Sterling, Mass.; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Swihart, Chillicothe and Mrs. Elsie Dean, Brookfield, two brothers, Vernon Ash and Robert Ash, Brookfield; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-granchildren.
