John E. Flemming, 84, died at 3 a.m. Saturday at a Fowlerton nursing home after an illness of several years. Mr. Flemming was a retired farmer.

Surviving are one son, Marion, Markle; two brothers; Milo, Uniontown, Pa., and Elmos, Kokomo, and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. C. T. Fleetwood, Berne, Ind., at the Van Buren Funeral home where friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Van Buren Cemetery.
