“Pete” Reeves dies at 86 – Francis McWilliam (Pete) Reeves, 86, RFD2, Chillicothe, died at the home of his son at 1317 Miller, at 2:30 Sunda morning. He had been in failing health 1 ½ years and seriously ill last three weeks. He was born in Livingston County Sept 7 1886, the son of Mack and Katherine Wilson Reeves, and married Lovey Keith, Sep 14 1905, at Chillicothe. She preceded him in death. The then married Ella Nora Swihart April 19 1913 at Chillicothe. She died Feb 20 1969. He attended the Cor Campbell School. Mr. Reeves was a retired farmer and a member of the Christian Union Church. Survivors include two sons, Raleigh and Calvin Reeves, Chillicothe’ a daughter Mrs. Ruby Ilene Wiklund, Chillicothe, a stepdaughter, Mrs. August Wiese, Andrew Ia.; three sisters, Mrs. Celia Powers, Chillicothe, Mrs Ethel Rinehart, Utica and Mrs. Gertrude Richman, Glover Dale, Ore., and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two wives, his parents two sons, and three brothers. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Chapel of the Norman Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the Utica Cemetery. Chillicothe Constitution Tribune June 11, 1973
