Weitzel, William 1869-1955

William Weitzel, husband of Ida Fillman Weitzel of Mountaintop, Narron, RD2, died yesterday afternoon, after having been in failing health for several months. He was 86.

Born in Berks County, a son of the late Frank and Mary Weitzel, he had lived in Narron for the past 12 years, and prior to that made his home in Honey Brook township. Weitzel was occupied in farming.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are these children; William Weitzel, Chillicothe, Mo;, John Weitzel of Oneonta, N. Y.; Robert Weitzel, of Honey Brook RD1; Thomas Weitzel, of Manheim; Euron, of Honey Brook; Mae, wife of Roy Bolich, of Pottstown, and Martha, wife of Merle Paup, of Pottstown.

Also 18 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a brother, Daniel Weitzel of Reading, and a sister Mrs. Rebecca Huyett, of Reading.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at one 0’clock at the Maclean funeral home, Pequea Avenue, Honey Brook. Internment will be in St. Mark’s Episcopal cemetery. Friends have been invited to call at the funeral home Friday Evening.
